Interesting facts about Russia

  1. Russia’s geopolitical conditions were inherently flawed and vulnerable to squeezes from both East and West. Russia therefore had an inherent urge to expand its territory and to extend its strategic buffer, and after centuries of territorial expansion, Russia became the largest country in the world in terms of land area. It was also because of the strategic depth of its vast territory, and the cold that others could not resist, that Russia defeated two powerful enemies, the Napoleonic and Nazi Empires.

  2. With a divorce rate of 51% in 2019, Russia has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. Russia has one of the easiest divorce procedures in the world, with couples only having to go to the registry office to get their marriage dissolved.

The table above shows the monthly changes in the development of the epidemic in Russia since records began.

We can see that since April 2020 the epidemic in Russia has started to spiral out of control, with monthly increases in the tens of thousands. Since the beginning of April 2020, the epidemic in Russia has started to get out of hand, with monthly increases in the tens of thousands.

By August 2021, the total number of confirmed cases in Russia reached a staggering 6803323, with 46,626 confirmed cases per million people, a confirmation rate of 4.66%.The number of deaths due to Neoconiosis in Russia is also alarming. As of August 2021, the cumulative number of deaths in Russia reached 179,233, with 1,228 deaths per million.

So, how is the vaccine progressing in Russia? As you can see, vaccine rollout in Russia is not progressing very quickly at the moment, with a complete vaccination rate of only 25% per 100 people as of August this year, and that’s after accelerating the rate, which was only 17% per 100 people in Russia back in July. I believe that one of the reasons for the poor control of the epidemic in Russia is the poor progress of the vaccine, but at today’s rate of progress, vaccination progress will advance significantly.

The reasons for the lack of vaccine rollout are surprising. According to theconversation website, the government’s unfavourable rollout is one reason, and another reason lies in the public’s distrust of the government and the medical establishment.
